i dont do it , but ma amma n her maid do it this way, pindi bind avvadu..so instead of using a roller pin, manam danini cheti thone vottutam palchaga,,n then penam meeda vesaka oka kerchief ni tadipi, degiriki chesi , u hv to keep pressing the roti with that..naaku telisina gyanam inthe..see if it helps..

Jonna rotlu mamol ga chesthe avavu swathi, water ni boil chesi danilo pindi vesi kalapali chapathi pindi consistency lo... apudu warm ga vunapude mudhalu tisukoni roll cheyali...ma father chala easy ga chesevaru avi ma mother ki kuduredi kadhu....so try chesi chudandi ...

Pindi ikkada indian store lo konnava.. then take it easy.. its tough.. Amma appudapudu dantlo vari pindi(ricefloor) ala kalepi kottedi... to make the pindi giguru.. (sticky)

maa MIL ippudu daily chesthunaru jowar roti...its indian store bought.. this is how she does it...boil water, add little salt to the water... hot water tho dough prep chesukovali...hand tho kalapalemu antha hot vundali water... use a wood spoon to mix..... pindi thadi chesaka, cover it with lid...this is the first step... once you can handle it, mudda laga cheyali...if you want you can add chilli powder, spring onions to it mudda cheseppudu... oka plastic cover/ziplock bag ki koncham oil rasi chethi tho rotte laga addi vedi ga vunna pan meeda petti lid tho cover chestharu...... one spoon oil vestharu..oka side kalchaka you can remove lid for the other side... it would be good with dal... chilli powder and onions vesthe you can eat it as is too...naku baga nachuthundi..and i am learning it too... koncham pedda process, but its easy once you learn...make small rotis until you can make the big ones....also, my MIL does the first step around 6pm and makes the roti around 8pm...
pan ki direct ga addachu kuda... hot water tho kalipithe antha twarga break avadu... also, cover it with lid...
