Kichidi nenu aithe 3 types of daals tho chesthanu

Almost anni oke laga chesthanu.

1. 2 cups rice ( basmathi is good )
2. 1 cup (moongdal or toordal or chanadal)
Note: Moong dal nenu 1/2 cup split moong with skin ½ cup split with out skin use chesthaa
3. 1 medium onion, 6 to 7 green chillies(depends on how spicy u like)
4. 1 t-spoon ginger garlic paste. You can only add garlic it taste good too.
5. 1 t-spoon ghee, 3 spoons oil, tadka material, few curry leaves,2 cloves, 1 bayleaf

Preparation: Add oil and ghee in a pan , add popu dinusulu, cloves, pinch of hing(smells really good), and slit chillies and ginger garlic paste. Fry for some time
Chop the onion in to thin slices and add them, add some salt and Fry until golden brown. Now add curry leaves.

Wash and soak rice and daal with correct measure of water in rice cokker. Mix the thadka in rice well. Now taste the water u can add salt and red chilli powder according to your taste and turn on the rice cooker.

It tastes realy good with tomato and corriander chutney.(i love it)

Note: I don’t like adding vegetables in kichidi but u can add every vegetable(like tomato, potato, carrot, greenbeans, cauliflower, greenpeas etccc) you want in tadka or in rice cooker directly before turing it on.
2. Always add tomato in tadka, wait until it fried well.
and then add all vegetables u want

I add vegetables only when i use Toor dal(tastes good). Never tried with other daals
toordal kichidi tastes good with aavakaya.
